You can also learn more about me by visiting www.donnasilbert.com/ Background: I received my doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor in 1992. While there, I researched the long-term effects of childhood sexual abuse on adult women. I interned at an outpatient facility of The Jewish Board of Family and Children’s Services in NYC, NY, where I treated children, families, and adults, and then I continued to work for JBFCS for 7 more years. During that time, I also opened a private practice and obtained psychoanalytic training from NYU’s Postdoctoral Program in Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis, receiving my Postdoctoral Certificate in 2000.
